Description of Magneisa Carbon Brick

Magnesia Carbon Bricks, a kind of unburned carbon composite refractory, are manufactured with magnesium oxide of alkaline oxide with high-melting-point (2800℃) and carbon material with high melting point that is difficult to be eroded by furnace slag as the raw materials, and added all kinds of non-oxides additive and carbon binding agent. Our magnesia-carbon brick is made from more than 98% electrically fused magnesite, high purity graphite and metallic antioxidants as needed. Size and specification can be tailored according to furnace type.

Magnesia Carbon brick is resin-bonded brick made from dead-burned or fused magnesia and graphite. Anti-oxidant can be added if required. Magnesia Carbon brick has good performance in thermal resistance, corrosion resistance and spalling resistance. Magnesia carbon bricks main production processes

Batching is the first process, Proportioning the raw material of magnesia carbon bricks strictly according to formulation requirements
Mixing process affects the quality of magnesia carbon bricks adobes and finished magnesia carbon bricks.When mixing, first mix coarse and middle Particle.Then add the binding agent at low speed mixing to make the aggregate and binding agent fully uniform.And then add graphite high speed mixing to make the aggregate, graphite and binder fully uniform.Then add magnesia powder and additives to continue mixing. When the graphite,magnesia particles, fine powder and additives are intensive mixing, the mixing ends.
The molding of magnesia carbon brick should be pressed by high pressure machine. Making magnesia carbon brick adobe density greater, ensure high volume density and low apparent porosity, strictly control the weight of single brick.
The brick adobe heat treatment,first,the bricks are placed at room temperature for 5-6 hours to fully volatilize.Then heat treatment at 150 C -200 C, time is not less than 32 hours,And below 80℃at room temperature, time is not less than 16 hours.
